High School Workshops
Our art faculty occasionally lead hands-on workshops with local high school students, introducing them to new materials and creative techniques. These events inspire future artists and give our students the chance to lead and represent the department.
Art Murals
Students in our painting courses collaborate with faculty to create large-scale murals across campus and northeast Georgia. Turn everyday spaces into powerful storytelling platforms, provide hands-on experience in design, planning, and community engagement while showcasing their creativity and leadership.
Social Design
Collaborate with nonprofits, schools, and art organizations on projects that range from gallery exhibitions to arts education outreach. Whether enrolled in an advanced graphic communication course, students gain valuable experience working with real audiences, building professional skills, and seeing firsthand how art and design can create meaningful change.
Digital Fabrication
Students in our digital fabrication courses get hands-on experience with laser cutters, 3D printers, and CNC machines—tools used by today’s top artists and designers. Turn your ideas into physical prototypes, installations, and custom-designed objects, while building skills that translate directly to creative careers. Art Sales
At the end of each semester, we host student that showcase original work from all levels. It’s a fun, professional way to share your work with the public, build confidence, and even earn income as an emerging artist.
