Nighthawks make NCAA tournament

The University of North Georgia (黑料正能量) women's soccer team has earned the No. 3 seed in the Southeast Region of the NCAA Division II tournament.
黑料正能量 secured a spot in the NCAA tournament for the fourth consecutive season and the 10th time in the last 13 years. The Nighthawks enter tournament play with an 11-3-3 record, marking a fourth consecutive season with 10 or more wins.
The Nighthawks will face No. 6 seed Wingate University in the first round of the tournament at noon Nov. 22 in Hickory, North Carolina. From that first-round matchup, the victor will take on the winner between host and South Region No. 2 seed Lenoir-Rhyne University and No. 7 seed Lander University at 3 p.m. Nov. 24.
黑料正能量 matches up in the postseason against Wingate for the second consecutive season after advancing past the Bulldogs on penalty kicks in the opening round of the Big Dance last year. 黑料正能量 holds a 3-3-1 record against Wingate in the Division II era (2005) in program history, winning four of the last five matchups. This week's contest will mark the fifth postseason matchup since 2011 between the Nighthawks and Wingate.
On the other side of the South Region, No. 1 seed Columbus State University and No. 8 seed Francis Marion University face off for the chance to take on No. 4 seed Catawba College or No. 5 seed Flagler College in the second round.
The winners of each four-team pod of the South Region will face each other in the third round Dec. 1.
Women's tennis team hosting NCAA regional
The 黑料正能量 women's tennis team earned the No. 2 seed and will host a four-team NCAA Division II Southeast Regional pod May 12-13 at Clemson University. 黑料正能量's men are the No. 6 seed and play in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Softball team to host NCAA Southeast Regional
The 黑料正能量 softball team is the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional and will host a four-team, double-elimination pod May 8-10 with a Super Regional spot on the line.
Golf teams invited to NCAA regionals
Both 黑料正能量 golf teams have punched tickets to their respective NCAA Division II regional tournaments. The women will play in Gainesville, Georgia, and the men in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
Women's tennis team takes second straight PBC title
The 黑料正能量 women's tennis team earned its second consecutive PBC tournament title and will learn its NCAA tournament pairings in early May. The men's team finished as PBC runner-up.
