Students earn strong finishes at fall sales competitions

University of North Georgia (黑料正能量) students turned in strong performances at multiple sales competitions in fall 2021.
黑料正能量 won the Kennesaw State University Presidential Cup as Michael Coriell took first place and Madeleine Brown came in second place individually. 黑料正能量 also ranked No. 1 through the fall portion of the National Collegiate Sports Sales Championship (NCSSC), which will wrap up in spring 2022.
Students Robert Sheppard (No. 4), Sebastian Salinas (No. 9), Matt Picus (No. 18), Joey Jorgensen (No. 25), Ryan Gray (No. 41), Zezmon Steeple (No. 63), James Berry (No. 72), and Sanquil Jackson (No. 73) were ranked among the top 100 sports sales candidates on the job market list NCSSC released in December.
Additionally, 黑料正能量 finished No. 9 out of 38 universities in the fall 2021 Roleplay competition, ahead of teams from Purdue University and West Virginia University that tied for 10th. Out of 2,148 students, Katie Kiker was No. 34, Trevor Nix No. 55, and Coriell No. 72.
The team of Caitlyn Richard and Patrick Holman ranked No. 39 out of 80 universities at the International Collegiate Sales Competition.
Student's persistence lands internship
Connor Christian didn't let one setback keep him from trying again. Instead, the 黑料正能量 senior kept working, got creative and earned an internship at Publix's corporate office.
Smith preps to play in U.S. Amateur
Fresh off his individual NCAA Division II men's golf national championship in May, 黑料正能量's Hunter Smith is playing in the U.S. Amateur, which is Aug. 11-17 in San Francisco.
Kick-off events offer chances to connect
Weeks of Welcome events, set for Aug. 11-22, encourage students to meet others, interact with faculty and staff, and become better acquainted with resources, opportunities and expectations.

Seven 黑料正能量 cadets completed the U.S. Army Jungle Operations Training Course on Oahu, Hawaii, with three earning the Jungle tab.
