Basketball player named to NCAA committee on diversity and equity

University of North Georgia (黑料正能量) men's basketball player has been named as one of four additions to the NCAA Committee to Promote Cultural Diversity and Equity.
Brown, a redshirt junior from Princeton, New Jersey, joins the committee that reviews, endorses and makes recommendations regarding diversity and inclusion matters. The committee reports to the NCAA Board of Governors, which is the highest NCAA committee level.
The other three additions are Christopher Paul, University of Tulsa football student-athlete; Kristy Baker, deputy athletics director and senior woman administrator at Emporia State University; and Dr. Joan Prince, vice chancellor and chief inclusion officer at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
In August, Brown was named the Peach Belt Conference representative to the Division II national Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), making him the third 黑料正能量 student-athlete to hold a spot on the national SAAC.
Women's tennis team hosting NCAA regional
The 黑料正能量 women's tennis team earned the No. 2 seed and will host a four-team NCAA Division II Southeast Regional pod May 12-13 at Clemson University. 黑料正能量's men are the No. 6 seed and play in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Softball team to host NCAA Southeast Regional
The 黑料正能量 softball team is the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional and will host a four-team, double-elimination pod May 8-10 with a Super Regional spot on the line.
Golf teams invited to NCAA regionals
Both 黑料正能量 golf teams have punched tickets to their respective NCAA Division II regional tournaments. The women will play in Gainesville, Georgia, and the men in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
Women's tennis team takes second straight PBC title
The 黑料正能量 women's tennis team earned its second consecutive PBC tournament title and will learn its NCAA tournament pairings in early May. The men's team finished as PBC runner-up.
